ACTION ZONE – EDUCATING FOR A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF EPILEPSY
A novel educational game about epilepsy has been developed as a collaboration between IBE and UCB Pharma and is aimed at children aged 5 years and older. Action Zone is a board game that can be played by individuals and by teams and is suitable for use by families, in epilepsy clinics, by support groups and in schools. The game is available free of charge in the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Korean, Portuguese, Greek and Arabic. We will try to accommodate all requests for the game and will send copies if available.
Early in 2007, order forms for Action Zone were sent to all IBE members and the response was unprecedented! Deliveries of over 46,000 units of Action Zone have been made to IBE members worldwide and feedback has proven that the game is a resounding success as an education tool and also as a fun game!
