IBE and ILAE are delighted to announce the call for nominations for the prestigious congress awards of Ambassador for Epilepsy Award and the Social Accomplishment Award. These awards will be presented at the time of the 28th International Epilspsy Congress in Budapest 2009.

The Ambassador for Epilepsy Award is given to those who have contributed at international level to activities advancing the cause of epilepsy. A maximum of 12 awards are presented at each International Epilepsy Congress.

The Social Accomplishment Award is given to persons with an extensive record of outstanding activities aimed at the social benefit of people with epilepsy. It is usually awarded to one individual at each congress.

The nomination forms and the rules governing these elections are now available.

We would like to encourage you to submit nominations for these awards. The deadline for receipt of completed nominations for each award is Friday 19th December 2008.
