The European Forum on Epilepsy Research (EFER) will take place in Dublin, Ireland from the 25th to 27th May 2013.
The Forum is organised in conjunction with Epilepsy Advocacy Europe (EAE), a Joint Task Force of the ILAE Commission for European Affairs (CEA) and the IBE European Regional Executive Committee (EREC). The initiative will be partly funded by the European Commission’s 7th Framework Programme and is being held during the Irish Presidency of the European Union and the European Month of the Brain, May 2013.
This Forum will bring together the principal stakeholders in the epilepsy community, with the aim of devising strategy for epilepsy research along with information sharing on the funding mechanisms across the European Union, ahead of the next EU Framework Programme Horizon 2020, to be launched on 1st January 2014.
