First Meeting of the Regional Executive Committee

Regional Executive Committee meets in Cairo

The first meeting of the IBE Eastern Mediterranean Regional Executive Committee took place in Cairo on 19th May 2008. The meeting was attended by Mrs Manar Sawan (Chair), Dr Abdulaziz Al-Semari (IBE Vice President Eastern Mediterranean) and Prof Najib Kissani (Secretary).

The committee discussed in detail the successful projects currently underway in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Morocco as well as plans to develop activities in the region. The committee also proposed several topics for the next International Epilepsy Congress in Budapest 2009.
