Welcoming New Members to IBE

In the last months, five applications for IBE membership have been received and processed. Three of the applications are for Full Membership, with two applicants requesting Associate Membership. In line with the Constitution, these applications require ratification by the General Assembly. This is currently being carried out using electronic balloting and will finish on 21st December, after which the applicants can be welcomed as new Members. In the case of the application from Canadian Epilepsy Alliance – this follows the termination of membership of Epilepsy Canada. The following is the full list of applications:

From 21st December 2007 IBE will be represented by 90 Full Members and 28 Associate Members, in 92 countries world-wide.
