I would like to thank all of you for electing me to the post of the Chair of the IBE European Regional Executive Committee for 2009-2013. It is an honour that gives me the opportunity to work closely with you in bringing epilepsy to light, upgrading care and working towards a better quality of life for those less privileged Europeans with epilepsy.
The European Regional Committee is open to all Full and Associate members of IBE who are based in Europe as described using the WHO regional boundaries…..

Every IBE Full and Associate Member belongs to a Regional Committee, with the region determined closely in line with the WHO regional boundaries. At the present time IBE has 35 Full (voting) Members and 18 Associate (non-voting) Members in the European Region.
