Due to the number of members in the region, there is no elected Regional Executive Committee for North America. Instead, representatives from the IBE member associations meet informally and communicate largely through email.
Every IBE Full and Associate Member belongs to a Regional Committee, with the region determined closely in line with the WHO regional boundaries. At the present time IBE has 3 Full (voting) Members and 2 Associate (non-voting) Member in the North American Region.
