IBE recently published a new edition of The Traveller’s Handbook for People with Epilepsy on CD.
The handbook is a useful tool for anyone undertaking a trip, as it contains helpful advice on topics such as First Aid Instructions, advice on booking accommodation, links to National Driving Authorities in other countries regarding driving regulations, medication advice and a very practical selection of useful phrases. The information in the booklet is available in 19 different languages and it is our intention to continue to add more languages.
Users can download the CD from the website, or if you wish to order copies of the CD for your association, schools, surgeries, etc, there is an order form on the website. CDs are free of charge (delivery included). However, where more than 5 copies are requested, we will need to charge for postage.
We will continue to update the Handbook, both CD format and online in addition, there is an option to sign up to receive notification of these updates. The site will be fully translated into all 19 languages in the near future.
We would encourage everyone to share this website with colleagues, family and friends and we would welcome any feedback you may have.
Over the next while, we shall be working on adding to the website, to have all 19 languages published on the website, so you can view it from your laptop, PC, tablet or smartphone.
